...some beautiful duets showcasing [Jane Young's] clarity and range.
...strong solo performances.
...the full cast also stood out.
...the Gaelic
Caidil Thu was beautiful. ...another feather in the cap of MD Peter Robinson...

The strength of
Blood on the Stones
is that Burke is a character with whom we can sympathise.

Carpe Diem in a nut-shell:
Peter writes the music and directs vocal rehearsals;
Dorothy plays piano for rehearsals;
David ensures we have a rehearsal space when we need it and helps co-ordinate publicity, making sure that we have tea and bickies at rehearsals;
Jan keeps track of the money;
Iain directs the company on stage and helps co-ordinate publicity.

For the Fringe, it's all hands on deck.
